Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez was an impressive performer as his side rescued a late 2-2 draw against Manchester United at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, and Red Devils fans have urged their club to sign the Algeria international.
Jose Mourinho’s men lost further ground in the Premier League title race as Harry Maguire’s injury-time equaliser denied them all three points, and they now lie 14 points behind arch-rivals and runaway leaders Manchester City.
Mahrez has recovered from a disappointing start to the campaign personally to score five goals and provide a further six assists – including the one for Jamie Vardy on Saturday – in 19 top flight appearances.
Man United supporters were quick to have their say on the 26-year-old’s display via social media, and while one said “if we don’t sign Mahrez in January, I’m done”, another said “I’d take Mahrez over Martial in a heartbeat”.
