Leeds are preparing for a tough trip to Fulham on Saturday but the signs in training suggest the players are confident and looking good ahead of the crunch meeting.
Fulham are one of the teams looking to apply pressure on Leeds as they too hunt one of the automatic promotion spots, and after defeat to Brentford last time out they will be determined to start clawing back the 12-point gap to the Whites.
It is very much a match which Leeds must not lose as a bad run over the busy festive period could deal a catastrophic blow to their promotion chances.
A true test for any Leeds fan: Can you match these iconic images with the right results?
However, Kalvin Phillips and Jack Harrison have shown in training this week that they have the quality to earn all three points, and supporters are certainly impressed by the skill shown by both, which led the latter to smash home a volley in training.
As shown, there has been a mixed reaction to Harrison’s part in the goal, with some fans still yet to be won over by the Manchester City loanee despite his obvious improvement this term.
He has four goals and five assists included a vital winner against Reading a few weeks ago which only occurred because of his tremendous desire and hard work.
Phillips is more of a fan favourite and the responses say as much, with many praising the exquisite skill he showed despite seeming to put minimal effort into the pass, which says a lot about his ability.
Elsewhere, Leeds fans have been discussing how well another player in the squad is performing, after the Athletic’s Phil Hay openly criticised his efforts this campaign.
