West Ham United boss David Moyes said during Tuesday’s press conference that his team had put in “a proper bid for another player”.And according to Football.London journalist Sam Inkersole, the individual in question could well be Rasmus Kristensen, who has been linked with a switch to the Hammers by The Independent. The 22-year-old only joined Red Bull Salzburg from Ajax over the summer and has made 17 appearances for his Austrian club during the 2019/20 campaign.
However, it appears that the Denmark Under-21 international could be about to switch clubs once again with West Ham strongly linked with a swoop.
When asked on Tuesday afternoon whether Kristensen was the player Moyes was referencing when asked about the club’s transfer plans, Inkersole suggested that “could” be the case.
Call yourself a West Ham expert? How much did each of these January signings cost?
It will certainly be fascinating to see what happens at West Ham before the end of the window, although the London club are also preparing for Wednesday evening’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.
