Journalist Graham Smyth believes that Jean-Kevin Augustin “is showing a few promising signs” of how he could contribute for Leeds United. The 22-year-old joined the Whites on loan from RB Leipzig last month and has made three Championship appearances – all off the bench – for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.Having made his debut in the 2-0 loss at Nottingham Forest on February 8, Augustin then featured in the 1-1 draw with Brentford before a late cameo in last weekend’s hugely important 1-0 win over Bristol City. Some Leeds fans have not been overly impressed with what they have seen from the attacker in the early stages of his time at the club. However, Smyth has claimed that Augustin is starting to show “a few promising signs” for the promotion hopefuls.
